4. Cookies, analytics, and sessions

FanSports uses cookies, similar technologies, and server-side session tools to keep users signed in, protect accounts, remember preferences, measure performance, diagnose problems, and improve the platform. Required security and authentication cookies are necessary for the service to work. Optional analytics or marketing tools may be configured as the platform matures.

5. How we share information

FanSports does not sell personal information in the ordinary sense. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that support hosting, authentication, email, analytics, payment processing, customer support, fraud prevention, and operations.
  • Groups, campaign administrators, sellers, or participants when needed to operate a campaign and show appropriate campaign activity.
  • Payment, tax, legal, compliance, safety, or law-enforcement recipients when required or appropriate.
  • A successor organization if FanSports is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

6. Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain account and campaign records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and preserve audit trails. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Fundraiser, prize, and eligibility records

Fundraiser campaigns may require FanSports to keep card-claim records, campaign attribution, scoring-period records, leaderboard results, swap activity, support notes, eligibility decisions, and audit logs. These records help protect campaign integrity, resolve disputes, apply campaign rules, and document prize-eligibility outcomes.

8. Children and youth participants

FanSports is designed for fundraiser administration, supporter participation, and card-based campaign activity. Youth sports, school, or organization fundraisers may involve minors as participants. Accounts, purchases, and card claims should be completed by adults or with appropriate parent, guardian, school, or organization involvement where required. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal information.
  • Update profile information from your account where available.
  • Opt out of non-essential marketing communications where supported.
  • Contact FanSports for privacy requests, support questions, or account-data concerns.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform, legal requirements, or business operations change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
